Because you argued for support in the locker room using two guys who aren't actually in our locker room anymore.

(no passive aggressiveness needed to point out flawed logic)

Kind of like how your logic is flawed about how Kaep is no good...he's terrible, yet he's better than probably 95% of all QB backups and a few current starters. Stats back that up. But anyways, you took a shot at that Ball & Boston comment because you didn't like how they expressed their views. Hence why I called it passive...

Exactly.

It isn't about that with most in here, though. Especially since Kaep is better than DA. They don't want him because of his political views.

For me, his politics don't really matter.  Well, aside from the distraction his politics will cause.  The team doesn't really care about his politics but they may care about the amount of attention that will be focused on on our backup qb.

More importantly though, while he probably is better than Anderson, he is also more expensive than Anderson.  From what they said on the NFL network show yesterday, he wants significantly more money than most teams are willing to pay for a backup.  If Tony Romo was willing to be a backup, I wouldn't want him either even though he is better than Anderson or Kaep, because a backup qb wouldn't be worth the cap hit.

Actually, I said nothing about Ball and Boston's views whatsoever. I don't really care what they, or any other member of the team thinks about Kaepernick's politics. That's irrelevant to their ability to play.

Again, I don't think Kaepernick is a good quarterback, and the biggest reason is his weakness at reading defenses (something more than one analyst has documented).

Disagree if you want, but that's a valid football opinion, no racial or political ideas needed.

You can quit with the, "I don't care about the politics" lie. Yes you do. It's why in every one of these Kaepeenick threads, you come in here with the same tired Kaepeenick can't read defenses line. You're just being passive with it. You do the same passive crap with Micheal Jordan whenever he's ever mentioned as being an NFL owner, by calling him a terrible NBA owner...and you don't even fool with the NBA.

As for Kaep. He's won games for San Fran, and even been deep in the playoffs. Something DA has not done. He'd be a great replacement for DA, and better.

So let's suppose the Panthers do sign Colin Kaepernick (unlikely, but possible)...

How would I react?

My reaction would be to say "Okay, I think that's a bad decision but it's done and I hope it works out."

No tantrums, no changing my fandom, no protests, no threads started calling for him to be cut, nothing any more major than the above statement.

For the record, this is the exact same reaction I had to the signing of Derek Anderson, the signing of Joe Webb, the drafting of Can Newton, the drafting of Luke Kuechly, the drafting of Jimmy Clausen and various other moves in Panther history.

But hey, it's all racial, right?

If you're dumbass enough to believe that, I can't help you.

Entirely possible.

Luke Kuechly might be the most liberal person on Earth for all I know. But so what if he is?

I just don't care.

Rivera has suggested guys would be wise to keep their political views to themselves. In today's climate, he likely has a point.

But again, I don't really care.

He'll never be a panther. I think even the most staunch of his supporters in the fan base know that. It wouldn't be a downgrade if he did come in as a backup for our squad, and besides being an annoyance to JR & maybe the coaching staff, I doubt he'd be a distraction or even cause a divide in the locker room. His SF teammates apparently loved him.

I do hope he gets signed somewhere, and believe he eventually will. The narrative that he's not good enough to be a backup is false, and screams of ulterior motives by the ones making the claim. Also, it's quite possible those same analysts who make those claims have the same disdain as the average fan who's against Kaep, ultimately making them biased. If you're one of those "well the analysts said it, so I'm going to believe it" individuals then Richard Sherman said Kaep was being blackballed so you should believe that also.

Lastly, no Kaep didn't vote but that doesn't diminish anything that he's done and if you believe that that says a lot about you as a person. I also remember months ago when everyone was saying Kaep had other motives in doing what he's doing. Millions of dollars later, seminars, appearances, and ultimately potentially sacrificing his job & livelihood, I think it's safe to say he put his money where his mouth is and he backed up everything he was talking about. As my man Marshawn would say, "he's about that action, boss" He's a villain to many, but he's a hero to many as well.

you're right. your terrible, unsupported position on kaepernick doesn't have to be "racial" when you could just be terrible at identifying talent. cam and luke are both potential hall of famers and you're over here talking about how you thought they were "bad decisions" at the time. maybe you shouldn't speak as some sort of authority or appeal to the authority of dumbass "analysts" when in the moment you can't distinguish between drafting cam newton and signing joe fugin webb.

Nah.

All I'm asking after this thread is don't nobody run and tell on me, mane. Don't run to the police on me. I know how it is on here lol. I'm already anticipating a thread being made on how the inmates are running the prison or how some of the posters need to go. Probably flagged as a possible KT hahaha. I'm just clowning now...good thread

Nothing worse than a bully, and you and a few others on here are bullies.

Anyways, Kaeps problem is that the owners and probably a few coaches aren't willing to put up with his stance. For you to call it crap is disrespectful to myself and many of the others he's taking a stand for, but it's not surprising coming from you. Anyways, owners and coaches don't want to deal with it. The majority of the locker room has no problem with what Kaep is doing, which is evident by the courage award given to him by his teammates aka the locker room in SF, and also the numerous players who kneeled with him. The locker room, for the most part, is with him.

Jarod problem is that he has pretty much sucked the past few years and then added being a major distraction to that recipe.  Please take your lame and over played race card and leave....
