Agreed. We have what we have. No need to play the hindsight game. Plus we have been developing our players behind probowl players. What better way to learn?

Shaq develops behind TD. We still use Shaq in our base 4-3 defense and now hopefully more in the nickel.

Vernon Butler is learning behind Short and Star. We run a heavy defensive line rotation so he will be very important this year.

Exactly.  I'll never understand why people continue to whine about something that is said and done.  Regardless of whether the "right/best" decision was made.  Move forward.

I don't think TD needs rest, but I think they want to increase Shaqs role.

I think that we now have one of the best nickels in the game, and will have 2 LB's in more often. Shaq and TD will split those reps just like we rotate the d-line to keep everyone rested. Come 4th quarter, we still have fresh legs on D.

He should've took Collins over Shaq

but he didn't, Fug the Giants, move on. I wanted Collins so bad it broke my heart when we passed, AND he's playing lights out at position we needed (still do, Adams is awesome, but a short-term answer). But there comes a time when you gotta let it go and focus on who's actually on our team. Shaq is a damn good player, who we didn't exactly "need" at the time.

Shaq was a college MLB and RB. Not a safety. You're thinking Jabrill Peppers

I didn't say Shaq was a safety. I said TD was a safety in college. They were both a little undersized for NFL LBers though and scouts were talking about switching Shaq to safety in the NFL. The point is that they are similar players athletically.

I'm a fan. This is America and I will speak my mind. Dave Gettleman fuged up by taking Shaq over Collins. I'm not saying Shaq is a bust, but Collins was a need.

I can concede to this. As I said, I was a huge Collins fan in the draft and SS hurt us last year. Kurt was out of position and Tre was just flat out bad.

EDIT: God bless America!

Fair enough, but before speaking.....

Did anyone notice TD and Shaq were both on the field for all of those plays shown?

Looking back at snap counts nobody has played more than TD over the past 5 years and it's not even close. He rarely comes off the field. Over 90% average of d snaps played over past 4 seasons. Nothing short of incredible for a guy who's come back from 3 ACL tears.

I still think we will see plenty of TD he may just sit an 1-2 extra series a game.

Yea the staff finally realized Klein was not cutting it on passing downs

Bc they fugger draft the player

I had you on ignore, and removed it for some reason. Now I remember why. I may get banned for this, but you may be the stupidest poster on this board, and that is saying a lot.

    • It didn’t feel like we’re the Bills bc we’re not a consistent conference contender yet we’re a rebuilding team. But with the game on the line we played just like the Bills went straight down the field and scored a tuddy then converted a 2pt conversion I have to give credit where credit is due. And the chiefs played us like we were the Bills in an AFC championship game, drive down the field and kicked a walk off FG to win at the end very similar to me. Are saying our defense stunk yesterday? Vs an elite offense team with elite coaching an elite QB man idk what you want them to do. KC does these things to the best defenses in the league consistently to win AFC chips and Super Bowls let’s not devalue who they are. I saw us play KC to the wire and barely lose defense did its thing as much as it could. Bingo!!! We’re also forgetting how injured we’ve been defensively this year, yes we need to build up the D but adding a few pieces and D Browns successful rehab should make us a very strong unit again. Couple that with the offense we saw yesterday and we’re winning our division.
    • Canales deserves a lot of credit. I'm very pleased. He's definitely making strides with Bryce. I also think some of his lack of commitment to Bryce as the starter is to motivate Bryce. I think he liked what he saw when Bryce was benched.  Even the Defense looks tremendously better with just a couple more pieces getting healthy. Wonnum has made our pass rush viable again.  I would love to see this team with one more good player across the defensive front, DT or an edge rusher.
    • I didn’t see any limitations yesterday
