Bortles is Gabbert version 2.0. The Jags sure do know how to pick 'em.

That's why I think Fournette couldn't of got selected to a worse situation.  A QB that regressed immensely last year, combined with an offensive line that also regressed.  It's a combination for a disaster.

Every single article stated Fournette was what we wanted.  Clearly, there's something there.  McCaffrey was our backup plan.  Unless somebody like Adams fell.

Didn't know you were privy to the Panthers big board.

That's hard to believe considering every report stated we loved Fournette. Virtually every single one.

From who though? There was just as much about Mccaffery

Dude, please. Fournette was taken #4. You act as if The Panthers took McCaffrey over Fournette at #8. I'm willing to bet both my testicles that The Panthers would haven taken Fournette if available.

Furthermore, if The Panthers wanted McCaffrey that bad, they wouldn't have waited 2 minutes to submit the pick. For the love of god, the Charlotte Observer released an article referring to Gettleman asking Taylor, Rivera, Shula and Wilks for one more pitch/suggestion.

Can we stop this bullpoo?

Do you have reading comprehension issues? That image doesn't even have Fournette's name on it. It plainly says CMC not in play at 8 because there's too many guys ahead of him. Too may =/= just Fournette. LOL

That's a good one hahaha.

Refer again to Fiz's post calling this...and every other pick ever was the "real" pick...hahahaha

GMan certainly loves to double dip though he has done it pretty much every year.

    • Karlaftis and Danna have been pretty inconsistent so teams have been doubling Jones and able to contain their pass rush.   But the good thing is that yesterday, we schemed well against Steve Spags Defense, Canales married the surrounding personnel with his QB through play designs within his comfort zone and was able to get downfield at will.  He was able to execute higher difficulty throws and look a lot more comfortable.  It tells me that Canales has a good system in mind, and had an edge gameplanning wise against Spagnuolo - which is nice to see.  It's a bit to see-saw at times with either going way too pass heavy or way too run heavy, but I think he's finding out what works.  It takes time to have it come together, and sure, I could see regression happen against a better front-7, but this was good for the entire system gelling.
    • This was evident first two weeks of season. I don’t see any issues with physical tools since he came back. I think he is a player that must play with confidence to overcome those size limitations and he’s doing that.
    • Still 3-10 on passes over 15 yards.  At least he's not scared to merely attempt them anymore.  Where I see improvement is the 10-15 yard range.  He was 6-6.  Bryce of old was scatter shot on anything beyond 10 yards and the further out, the worse the accuracy.
