Congrats on the move, I wouldn't live anywhere other than North Carolina.

You can come hangout at the lake with TheBigCat, afterwards we can go enjoy drinks at the Punch Room where you are bound to see Thomas Davis hanging out somewhere around there

I wouldnt actually live in the Charlotte City Limits... way too many cars, people, one way roads, traffic, noise, crime, pollution.... move out in Suburbs... or.. do what I did.. and moved to the country.... its quiet, laid back, no traffic, open roads, minor crime, town closes up at 9... its awesome.

I'm the opposite. I would only live near the middle. I always worked close to uptown and road my bike in to work. Living where I had to drive in would have made me insane.

Visit Albemarle...there is nothing here but Morrow Mountain and the best damn pool party next to Rehab in Vegas, but only because there is nothing else to do. We also have an Applebees.

I live in Charleston and it is definitely one of the best cities in the Carolinas. Lived in Charlotte for 10 years and moved back to Charleston if that tells you anything.

Ive never been to Seattle but I've been to Portland twice in the past 6 months and loved it. The Pacific Northwest is beautiful. I'm sure if I lived there my whole life though I'd like a change of scenery.

Also coming from the west coast to the south is going to be like going back in time 30 years. The south is the least progressive region in the United States. It kind of sucks.

That bullshit generalization is like going back 30 years in time.
