I never said iOS wasn't secure or that Android was more secure.  You just made an assumption.  I know that iOS is very secure.  However, you said that iOS gets no viruses, which simply isn't true.  Granted, they are rare.  Here is your research:

My wife is a QA programming tester with a specialty in testing software to work across all of the major cell platforms and phones. Her job required her to work with iPhones, Androids, Nokias, Blackberries and the whole assortment. She literally has to be familiar with them from the ground up and how each type works with each of the big network providers.

For personal use, it's the iPhone on Verizon. Best, most stable platform, most secure and easiest to use. Once you move to an iPhone you understand why almost no one goes back to Androids. And you'll keep them for three, maybe four, years at a time whereas some folks might go through an Android or two a year. Quality of design, programming and service win out.
