Well, if you thought Oher wasn't done yet, wait until you hear this:

Panthers offensive lineman Michael Oher turned himself in to Nashville Police Tuesday after he allegedly assaulted an Uber driver on April 14.

Oher, 30, is charged with assault causing bodily injury. Alcohol is suspected in the incident.

According to Nashville police, Oher was in a vehicle with four other people and asked the driver to go to The Southern Restaurant in downtown Nashville. They told the driver to follow another vehicle to the restaurant, but the driver indicated that the lead car seemed lost. The Uber driver offered to take the lead when Oher suggested the Uber driver was just trying to collect more money for the fare.

The report continued, the Uber vehicle then stopped so members of Oher’s party could use the restroom. When they stopped, Oher confronted the driver, pushed him to the ground and kicked him in the leg.

The police report indicated that Oher had to then be restrained until police arrived on scene.

I really hope he stays out of football. I feel like his concussion is playing a huge factor in his sudden aggressiveness, and he just needs to retire and take a breather.

UPDATE: Not as bad as this report made it looked. Sure, Oher did turn himself in today, but the real information was that the Driver provoked Oher, as originally reported:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Panthers offensive tackle Michael Oher is scheduled to appear in court June 6 to answer misdemeanor assault charges stemming from an altercation with an Uber driver last month.

Police online records state that Oher turned himself into Nashville police Tuesday. The records also state that Oher, 30, pushed and kicked an Uber driver on April 14 following a dispute over the fare.

The report states when the Uber driver parked his vehicle he got out to open the door for passengers in the backseats. At that time Oher, who was sitting up front, got out and confronted the driver. The report states the driver put his hands up toward Oher's face. Oher then pushed the driver to the ground and kicked him in the leg and had to be restrained by other passengers.

So his millionare ass gets upset because the dude was trying to actually get you where you needed to go and save you money.

I've driven for lyft before and it is so annoying to be accused of that. It is irritating and stressful when people don't know where to go and request to navigate beyond gps. You're trying to get your guest to the destination quickly and safely. Tailing someone is unsafe and unreliable.

At least he turned himself in. Whether it has to do with his concussion who knows maybe. Still hoping it is untrue. Still not Greg Hardy or Mixon level of shitbag.

Someone help me here..isn't this the same version of the story from last week that was being reported? What are the new details?

The new details are that Oher instigated the scuffle.  The original report is that the driver got aggressive and Oher shoved him in defense.  This is totally different.

"Concussions, or mild TBI as they really should be called, can result in a variety of neuropsychological disturbances ranging from subtle deficits to emotional disturbances.  Typical neurocognitive changes attributed to include cognitive impairments, mood disorders, anxiety disorder, psychosis, and behavioral problems. This is most evident in cases of retired or deceased professional athletes such as Junior Seau, who after sustaining multiple concussions throughout his career; it wasn’t his cognition that cause his death, but an emotional decline into the abyss.  Concussions can change the way people feel or express emotions. An individual who sustains a concussion can have exhibit several types of emotional problems."

This doesn't jive with the report posted on here a week or so ago, that former said per the ''victim'' that he 1st put his hand/s in Ohers face, then AFTER that the alleged assualt on Oher's part took place.

I seriously doubt Michael Oher just stomped someone over a Uber fair...but we will see what comes of it.
