I may be catching Igo's FB fetish, I'm getting way too excited about this kid who's never even played the position. He just looks like he'd knock the piss out of you though.

Armah did play HB/TE in college so he at least has a basic understanding of how to block in the running game.

While weight is relative to BP, I'd rather take a guy who can deadlift or squat an impressive amount . Core and lower body strength will always come out on top, and provides superior balance, upper body does nothing for that. Also,  longer body types will lift less but have larger ranges of motion (flexibility), something that should be considered playing sports. Of course there is always the super freak who has a larger ROM and impressive strength.

The 225 max rep bench press is not a very good measure of strength.  There are a number of factors that come into play.  Arm length, chest size, endurance, form, practice, etc.

Let me give you a personal example.  I am 5'6" and weigh about 250.  I have short t-rex arms and a barrel chest.  I can press 225 about 18-20 times. Do I consider myself nearly as strong as our new tackle? Fug no.

Exactly. My workout buddy is built like you and absolutely wrecks the bench press and the squat rack. Come deadlift day, I wreck the mat compared to him, and also have always twice the reach/range of motion.

Who is stronger? More athletic? better at sports? Subjective questions.

People were comparing him physically to Philly Brown, which is completely innacurate.

He has more of a build like Bene Benwikere than anyone else. Anyone that met Bene knows he is built like a small linebacker.

I'd like to say I'm built like a small linebacker as well.

5'6" and 250lbs? Holy poo! You really are a bowling ball.

Wait our slot receiver and our DE prospect benched the same amount of reps? Hall needs to be eating some major Wheaties this year.

Yeah, Hall's bench was the only thing that kept him out of the 90+ percentile testing wise (ended up 77th). Was above average to great everywhere else but definitely needs to add strength, although that's probably among the easiest things to remedy.
