Pro Football Talk reports the Saints expect C Max Unger (foot surgery) to return during the preseason.

Unger underwent foot surgery over the weekend. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Unger is doubtful for Week 1, but the Saints are apparently more optimistic. If New Orleans does expect him back during training camp, they are unlikely to seek out a short-term replacement option via trade.
