Don't worry.

I'll eventually get to a breakdown on Moton. You'll see exactly why he was a top 3 pass blocker from this class.

I'm not arguing he's not top-3 at his position.  I LOVE the pick.  But the fact remains he still has elements of his game he can refine.

He's a rookie.

He's a 2nd round pick.

Way to accentuate the obvious.

My fault.  I thought a discussion board about the Carolina Panthers was the place to come to discuss said second round picks.  And in a thread dedicated to said rookie, to boot.  Maybe I'm confused.

I think people are just giving you poo because you're making a sweeping judgement on a player off of one still image where he's finishing a block on an engagement he's obviously won.

Where was my sweeping judgment? I acknowledged they are still frames. Looking at those still frames shows a player on his toes. That's something to comment on, no? Typical #HuddleReax

He was a very solid pick. I've heard that some say him being from a small school will "hurt him," but I say his production says otherwise.

Moton's run and pass blocking were near the top percentile. For a 320lb guy, he's got crazy athleticism and power.

Just imagining his ferocity on the field that he puts in drills gives me chills.

I like Daryl Williams. I honestly do. But Moton is another guy I'd love as a pure RT. One of the best pass blockers from the class, and I'm sure Igo saw a glimpse of that.

Am I reading the graph right to suggest he is only below average on screen blocking? I wonder if pulling on some of our sweeps or reverses is included in run blocking?

Think about how the offensive scheme could impact those scores. Idk what type of offensive scheme Moton served in so playcalling might impact that concern you have (maybe or maybe not). All the other scores verify that he is solid and gets the job done for the most part compared to his counterparts.

Agreed.  Did you happen to attend the ECU graduation last night?

    • Yes I have. Have you? If you know anything about body language which I'm guessing you don't, it communicates what you're really thinking. People lie with words everyday. Very few people have enough control over their bodies to lie with that as well. So, if you want to know the truth, ignore their planned responses and read their body language.  You say he's pissed, I don't see pissed. I see indifference. He shrugs his shoulders like 10 times. What does a shoulder shrug usually mean when we communicate? It means I don't know. No me. Not my problem. etc. Everything he said was dismissed as I don't know, no my problem.  If he were pissed their should have been more aggressive motions and when people are pissed the eyes narrow.  There was non of that. Watch the Dalton video when he got benched in Cinci. He was pissed and his body language shows it. He shakes his head no aggressively when talking about the decision which matches his words that he disagrees with the decision, his eyes narrow and he rocks from side to side leaning in slightly on his right side. That's a sign of aggression which means anger.
    • well, if you put in stock into Tom Brady's opinions.  He said the young QBs shouldn't be playing.  He said they are setup to lose.  They don't have time to learn how to play QB in the NFL.  So what teams do is they dumb down literally everything for the young QBs and throw them into the fire.  Which for a Bryce is REALLY going to hurt.....because he doesn't even have average physical tools, let alone doesn't have break glass emergency skills to overcome anything.  Brady implied even ones playing well aren't really playing QB at a high level.
    • I think we’re past trying to tailor fit an offense for Bryce. He won’t study it or put in extra work during the offseason anyway.
