Last year, It was all about stacking CB's. This year, it is about replacing height with speed.

Bracy, Byrd, Samuel.

Watching tape between Byrd and Bracy, I actually wouldn't be mad if Bracy made the team over Byrd. For an Olympic track star, he has natural football skills. Even after being away from football for so long, all he has to do is have better hands than Ginn and he will already be an upgrade and that isn't asking for a lot.

Have Curtis-Byrd-Bracy-McCaffrey-Olsen Offensive Set. How could one defend that?

Byrd can catch bombs

Bracy can catch bombs

Samuel can catch bombs or work the middle

Olsen can work the seam or the middle

McCaffrey can be a dump off, wheel route, etc

All that speed would make DBs pushback and have a cushion or get penalized for illegal contact

Getting into a disagreement with your coach and pursing a successful tack career in which he ended up in rio 2016 is not a bright red flag. A football team is a family, and how many of us have gotten into a disagreement with a parent? You want to throw a bright red flag on a guy because of a disagreement? When you have guys who just got drafted in the first round(foster) with domestic violence charges weed, and punching females?

Absolutely. It also has to be really difficult on coaches to have an athlete that is pursuing multiple sports. You inevitably have to give this one guy exemptions from team meetings, workouts, etc etc which I'm sure is tough to do. I am sure that is what led to the falling-out.
