Take Away from Todd McShay's Way too Early Draft

This is an ESPN insider so I will just post the relevant things from his article.

1) He has Sam Darnold from USC being the #1 overall pick with the Browns sucking and picking 1st for the 100th season

2) Carolina drafts 26th...Sam Hubbard, DE, Ohio State - Hubbard, who is 6-foot-5, 265 pounds, was disruptive in his first season as a full-time starter, posting eight tackles for loss and four QB hurries. This draft choice means that he thinks Carolina (barring trade backs/up) loses out at the Division Series but a playoff team nonetheless. 

3) Matty Meltdown and Atlanta Drafts 24th.

4) The only 3 teams he has picking after Carolina are Dallas (28), Green Bay (29) and Seattle (31). 

5) He has Seattle v. NE in the Super Bowl with NE winning again.

What say you? Would a division title and playoff appearance be ok given the letdown of 2016 or would an assumed playoff berth be sufficient.

Lots of speculation based on the above but hey, offseason.

Its too early for mock drafts , you cant do a real one until both the NFL and the college season are officially over with

Super Bowl or bust.  No, not kidding, and no, nothing else will suffice.  Of course I don't expect anyone to predict that nationally and that's respect from McShay.  But when healthy no team is more capable or able, and we obviously must get one before TD retires.

I saw his too early draft from last year and he got I think 15 or 20 out of 25 first round picks correct, which isn't too bad at all when you think about it. Don't pay attention to where they are taken number wise, just make note of the prospects for the coming year because their stock can rise and fall, and they will be rated higher on some boards than others. 

Still a good base for any draft/scouting guys to start with going into next year.

I never pay attention to early mock drafts. They always dramatically change by the time next year comes.

On a serious note, he's a stud. He'll go in the Top 10. He came into college as a freaking SS then Ohio State made him into a OLB/DE. Hubbard is a freak of nature.

Now he's 6'5". By the time he's eligible for the draft, he'll be 6'6" at the very least.

The 6-2/253 fullback the Panthers just drafted was a 6-0/210 outside linebacker coming out of high school.
