Well, this is going to be fun:

- In retrospect, the 2006 team could've been something special. Just had too many key injuries.

- Part of me thinks that those failed two points conversions in our first Super Bowl made John Fox lose some of his edge.

- Talent wise, Cam is clearly the best we've ever had in the QB spot. As a leader and in crunch time, however, I would still take Jake Delhomme. 

- If I was forced to bet on whether both KB and Funchess will still be on the team in two years, I would say no.

- While John Fox's attitude during his lame duck season was unprofessional, the franchise deserved it for being too cheap to fire him. 

- One of the players that angered me the most was Keary Colbert. Why? He smiled wide every time he dropped the ball.

- One of the coolest moments in franchise history was when Vinny Testaverde was our QB and actually won.

- I honestly don't care if Smitty never retires as a Panther.

- When JR sells his share of the team an outside buyer will purchase the Panthers and move the team to the UK once NC denies any kind of public money to help build a new stadium.

This fan base and this franchise does NOT deserve Cam Newton. If Cam were to have played in Dallas, Pittsburgh or, poo, even fuging Atlanta he would never ever get the hate from his OWN fanbase like he does here in Carolina. Cams not a leader?! Dude played through a fuging torn rotator cuff to show the rest of the team not to give up in a failed season. Cam is mentally weak?! When Cam got kicked out a power house like Florida he could've hung it up and said "fug it" but h chose to go to a Jr college, show his worth, and came back to win a Heisman and a National Chmapionship. fug y'all. Everyone dissing Cam can go root for another team.

2018/2020 election will change that and of course winning the SB will help you get all the money for the long term commitment .

I believe Funchess will be very good.  Last years performance or lack thereof was due to having to run long developing routes that didn't mature by the time the defense got into Cam's face.  Also, Cam doesn't look his way and I don't know why - he just doesn't.

This is one of the most tired lines I see on this site.

Every single fan base criticizes their starting QB....every singe one...at some point or another.

Just part of the game.
