I don't think that's how it works. The defense doesn't have time to switch personnel to a heavy one after the offense lines up on the line of scrimmage.

I was bored so I looked up how much money he was making in Cleveland and found out he signed for 3 yrs and 12 mil. That aligns with previous post Boston/Dickson cut(s) free up that amount....for the love of God please do it Dave!!!

If they were able to do this and find some depth at safety, we'd be pretty stacked though. I'm not getting my hopes up

This will  definitely help the offense against delayed  blitz & teams trying to stack the box.

The multiple  formation possiblities  with the same perssonel will keep this offense dynamic & flexible to find the best matchups
