Trouble at WFNZ: QCB and Mark Yarbro fired, full-length podcasts eliminated

The fact Frank Garcia and Geoff Schwartz still have jobs after firings show how bad that station is. Frank Garcia is a moron. He is a dumb a person, you can tell he isn't intelligent. He also just makes up stuff like th Benjamin being 280 story. I don't think I need to say any more about Frank. I believe the consensus out of every normal human being outside of that building agrees he's the worst.

 

Geoff Schwartz is a Cam hater who makes up stuff to fit his agenda. He also does no show prep whatsoever. Within the last month he had no idea Ted Ginn was first round pick or that Michael Oher was in concussion protocol. I also know for a fact he use to try to host and fill in for NY sports talk radio shows, and everyone thought he was awful and said no. He sounds like his mouth is constantly overflowing with flem.

It is a sad day when two lifers pretty much are shown the door, but these two massive idiots are still employed.

All of you folks that think WFNZ is bad, be glad you don't live in ATL. Local sports radio here is not good. I enjoy being able to open up the app and hear people talking Panthers. I will admit to being a huge homer so while I'm sorry those guys lost their jobs, I'm glad to not hear the likes of Nate Conley and Yarbs on the air.

Damn that sucks. QCB was the only person on-air there that actually had a fleshed out radio personality, everyone else there is just a boring talking head besides Mac.

The new guy they hired isn't a Panthers fan either and quite frankly is boring as hell. I really don't care at all about his opinion of the Panthers or Hornets. He knows nothing about them, and it shows daily. All he has is a radio voice. The only host that is a true panthers fan there is Garcia.

His voice is too polished. For some reason I can't listen to him.

Yarboro might have been a Skins fan for life but he had certainly become a Panther fan as well and did a good job being objective.

Same with QCB. The Cowboys thing seemed a clear pumped up act to get responses

at least you don't have to listen to non stop homer radio from climpson...my son is a CU grad and he cant even take it...train up a child...

I listen to WFNZ from Knoxville every day, but usually just the morning show. Unless it's a Friday before a big SEC football weekend, I can't find a sports radio show I enjoy as much. I listen to the afternoon show sometimes, but QCB is a major tune-out factor.

I had no issue with Yarbs. At least he had some sports knowledge.

The biggest deficiencies FNZ has are it's on air personalities lacking knowledge and cheering for out of market teams.

So listen to Mac and Kroeger. Mac is a Ravens fan and still an absurd Panther homer. I'd prefer some variety.

Fair enough, but if they aren't going to be Panthers fans at least make damn sure they are neutral as opposed to Cowboys/Redskin fans.
