Unfortunately if he hits fa next year I doubt we can put a bid in for him, otherwise barring funchess stepping up, or the rest of the wr's, I'd take a serious look at Watkins, when not injured he is a number 1 receiver in terms, awesome deep threat as well.

It's interesting their stats are actually pretty comparable. I think it comes down to whether or not you trust Sammy Watkins to be healthy or Kelvin to be motivated.

One big difference that jumps out to me though: age. Watkins is three years younger than Kelvin. 

I think a change of scenery would benefit both guys as well, but I'm not quite ready to give up on Kelvin yet. But Gettleman doesn't give a fug about what I think or any of us thinks. He's proven with Steve and Josh he will move on from a player at the drop of a hat.
