Psychopaths are fearless, they can't feel fear no matter what happens to them. Sociopaths can feel fear. Psychopaths don’t have a sense of right and wrong, and they're unable to feel remorse, sympathy, empathy, love, and many other emotions. Sociopaths can feel a more normal range of emotions. Psychopath want to be involved in society, and have an extreme desire to manipulate other people for their own benefit. Sociopaths tend to be anti-social, and fearful or mistrusting and of others. Psychopaths have dysfunction in the amygdala area of the brain, and there is no cure for psychopathy. Sociopaths usually are the result of being abused during childhood, or as an adult being forced to fight in heavy combat in a war.  Sociopaths can be helped and their condition can improve.

Psychopaths are also much more likely to use illegal drugs and abuse alcohol due to their extremely low inhibition and high level of impulsiveness.
