Given the recent stories regarding the discussiond the staff and front office had regarding using the rb as a receiving weapon it's hard to believe they had Fournette over Mccaffery.

Fournette was Shula's wet dream.

I'm willing to believe, however, that Ron was actually evaluating his job prospects.

But the story that came out after the draft is that Shula brought up the number of receptions the pats rbs get and how they needed to move to that to help Newton. Entirely possible they had different potential paths mapped out but it's still interesting.
