Man the Benjamin hate here is real...

The man put up just shy of 1,000 yards, on an offense that had a 1,000+ yard TE a YEAR after an ACL tear!!

What more could you ask for basically everyone's numbers were down across the offense...''why'' because our OL fell completely apart. You can't judge a QB/HB/WR/TE performance so harshly when the position group that creates the majority of that success is in shambles.

I for one am excited, the 2nd year after the ACL is usually when a player is finally all the way back, Funchess will get more reps, and we have guys underneath now in McCaffrey & Samuel that will limit how deep the underneat coverage can drop to help on the deep/intermediate targets to guys like KB, Funch, and Olsen. Not to mention all the above and a healthy OL should present some lighter boxes for Stewart.

The reason people are upset, and reasonably so in my opinion, is because of the half-assed effort KB put up throughout the season. Constant holding penalties, giving up on routes, and not trying to tackle guys on turnovers (that lead to your starting QB having to tackle the guy who picked it off because KB quit on his route, which is the play in which Cam injured his shoulder) are why people are pissed at him.

He came into Camp overweight the other year, then tore his ACL. I'm sure people are worried that might happen agian.

The whole coming back from an ACL takes two years seems more like an excuse than a reason to me, honestly. The effort was not there last year from him. It would have been one thing to see him chugging away and trying his hardest but just coming up short, but the dude would just straight up give up from time to time. I'm sure he wasn't 100% yet, but the effort just wasn't there throughout the year.

And that's what is so damn frustrating. Him half assing it out there resulted in a just under 1k year receiving. Had he actually tried harder, he would have surpassed those numbers easily.

That's why people are frustrated and annoyed, because he is legitimately the best receiver we have on the roster, but you get these continuous reports of him not handling his crap like a professional.

No one should poo on him for taking time to recover from an ACL surgery. Yeah sure there are some freaks like Terrell Suggs who can come back in the same season but there's just no way to predict how each person will respond, each surgery is different etc etc

But he can watch his fuging diet and not get fat.

Not only is that a reasonable expectation, but failure to do it should constitute dereliction of duty. Keeping yourself skinny during rehab is a fuging part of the process. If he'd fuged off to like massage envy to rehab instead of the team facilities like Daunte Culpepper did he'd be ridiculed up and down the board.

Getting fat is just as damaging to the rehab process. Instead of eating slightly fewer calories Benjamin built himself an igloo made of klondike bars and ate his way out.

I dont really care about the weight, its the times when he plays like a lazy fug who doesn't care that irritates me. There were more than a few examples of that last year and you cant blame that on an injury

Benjamin for Watkins straight up

who says no

That's a really interesting trade idea, I think the Bills would be quicker to pull the trigger on that than the Panthers suprisingly

Semantics

1 holding penalty, 2 false starts, 3 illegal blocks.

Illegal blocks are just as bad as holding and he did it thrice. That's 4 penalties that negated plays from our offense due to boneheadedness. Although I do think one of those illegal blocks was BS, the others I don't think were.

And there's no excuse for a false start from a receiver.

Dude needs to get his crap together because if he does he'd be unstoppable.
