In 2015 for large stretches, you couldn't get to Cam.  Yea there were breakdowns, but nowhere near as consistent as last year.  It got especially atrocious once Kalil went down.   

Good to fairly good defenses followed the same scheme.  If you kept someone in to block, they blitzed.  If you didn't Cam would hold the ball to long going for the big play instead of the checkdown, which he would go to only when under pressure. 

Does Shula make some dumb calls?  Yeah every OC does.  However you add, the receivers who get the least amount of separation in the league, with a bottom 5 offensive line, our best RB catching out of the backfield is probably the slowest.  Our best RB out of about 5 games, our QB nursing a shoulder injury for who knows how long, probably undocumented concussions from all the illegal hits to his head.  Oh and add, the 1st half of the year, our defense played like Poo Poo. 

You guys blame Shula and Charles Godfrey for everything that goes wrong with the team.  It's doesn't make sense if you just sit back and actually watch everything as a whole.   

We were 15th in offense, but 26th in defense, but everything was Shula's fault.  It's like Trump blaming everything on Obama around here sometimes. 

 

No I blame more than Shula. 

I blame Ron for promoting Shula.

I blame DG for retaining Shula. 

I blame Cam for his poor footwork, lack of touch, and not getting the ball out quicker and or changing the play to allow for quick throws to the flats, slants, drags, digs, curls, etc. 

Hard to blame the OL, they just are not talented. 

DG has addressed that issue some, so hopefully, it will pay dividends. 

Shula is just not a top of the line OC. His career stats back that up. 

Should have never been promoted to OC to begin with.

Why don't you just say, Cam didn't play well last year?  I think Cam thing has gone full circle.  Before the draft the hate critisism was so out of wack, now it's gone the other way.  If Cam plays bad people refuse to say as such and have to blame someone else.

No, he didn't play well.  He was hurt.  I think he couldn't audible because coaching didn't allow it.

He was hurt.  Coaching staff new that.  They made the decisions for him.  That's the way I see it.  Plus shula probably was jealous and tried to get all the glory.  Ha!  Who really knows.

I'll explain

No KB helps us more than he's with us. Its no coincidence we struggled in 2014 year too. Without KB, Cam had more control to audible and go at a faster pace and also didn't have to focus on a "number 1 receiver". Getting Christian and Samuel definitely will help, but hopefully our focus won't be getting KB the ball cause he's our number 1. We need to spread the ball around. One thing Shula isn't strong at is getting his RB the ball in the passing game, we don't run a west coast offense but it should be interesting. They'll be in the slot at times too

Olsen... nothing. 

Cam supposedly had a shoulder injury. 

Not sure how much it hampered him or not. 

Cam just regressed and couldnt cover up Shula's short comings.

There is no question in the OP. 

Merely pointed out a possibility. 

Having surgery after the season doesnt tell us exactly how much it affected his throwing during the season. 

Shula offenses have sucked 90% of his career. Injuries or no injuries.
