With a group of stacked Offenses, the best Defense will win the NFCS this year.

Looking around to our foes this year it's obvious that everyone should have powerhouse offenses this year. 

Atlanta - in 2016 they had the #1 offense and the NFL MVP.  I don't think they lost anyone and kept most everyone together.  The biggest question mark is how will Kyle Shanahans departure effect them?

Saints - while they lost Cooks, they brought in a speedster with Teddy. They also addressed the line in the draft. But their biggest addition was adding AP to split carries with Mark Ingram.  Not to mention they still have Drew Brees who has the tendency to make mediocre WRs put up big numbers.

Bucs - Famous Jameis has already had a nice weapon in Evans and Martin, now they added DeSean Jackson and drafted stud TE OJ Howard. They have been quietly making moves each year, we said it last year and we will keep saying it, but watch out for these guys. 

 

Take out the "Luck" of how the season goes, and on paper, it's obvious that the team with the most durable defense wins the South.

Based on last season Tampa had the best D, I think we are more talented

Panthers retooled their offense into having arguably the most mismatches and unpredictability in the NFC South with how we have a diverse set of players.

All the NFC South offenses are potent in their own right.

However, the Panthers far and away have the best defense in the NFC South. Our DE rotation and DT rotation is like none other, and our LBs have starter level players going to our 5th and 6th guy on the depth chart. Our secondary consists of 2015 Kurt Coleman, Pro-Bowler Mike Adams (who has played behind a trash d-line most his career), Bradberry, Worley, and Munnerlyn, with Corn being an interchangable piece for certain situations/rest periods.

I'll put money that we'll have a top 3 defense next season, and we could be pushing for #1. There's no holes at any position whatsoever, and it's easily a force.

Its not only the defense but who ever has the best run game.

J-Stew & McCaffrey offers the best combo of Thunder & Lighting also panthers have the best interior OL combo in the NFL.

The biggest factor is the transition from McDermott to Wilks as Defensive Coordinator. Different mindset, different instincts, different alignments. It will be about how well our guys adjust. I have high hopes.

Don't discredit the Falcons' backfield. They are every bit deserving of the respect that they earned last year.

I'm not discrediting them but J-Stew is probably the best all around  RB in the South.  With CMC & other speedy weapons he want be facing 8 man box constantly

I concur, and I think we have the best front 7 in the Division. We're gonna need continued improvement from our young DBs. 

One thing about the Saints though, I don't think AP gives them anything, here's a 32 year old RB who played in 3 games last year. Taints will prolly be the #4 offense in the Division this year and we all know their defense sucks.

They have an eerily similar backfield as we do as of now, except we drafted their version of Freeman and Coleman in McCaffrey and Samuel and they drafted our version of Stewart in Brian Hill (who I was high on as a late round pick).

When you have Drew Brees throwing you can run the ball, I think it was a good pickup to go along with  Mark Ingram.

They have invested a good amount to the OL, dont sleep on anybody remeber the 2013 game in the rain!.

BTW I said Panthers defense is the Alpha in the south that will help us take it back. 

NFC South is going to be the # 1 Divison in the NFL

You sure do know how to pump the sunshine.  We finished 26th in pass defense.  We were not the most talented defense in the NFC South last year.  Stop with the sunshine pumping.  Hopefully we can get back to top 5 defenses like 2015.

You can see the moneyball concept taking over. 

It seems the trend is more options on offense in 3, 4 and 5 wr sets and simply get the best match up on offense and spread out the d.

Now that isn't that new or ground breaking but its the specfic stats/metrics  of the players and # of possessions blah blah.

The defense will have to prove itself on the field. Looks nice on paper. Hopefully Hall get better cause I'm predicting DE will have issues getting to the QB early in the season.
