You forgot to mention the signing of Ryan Khalil at LT. Now that he's had his hip surgery he says he feels better than he has in years. Being healthy and playing with his brother can't help but elevate his play and the running game.

They'll line him up at SS to kill the opposing team's #2 receiver and RB in the first quarter, then move him to FB for the rest of the game.

You are spotting for the defensive coordinator, and you see this guy, McCaffrey,  Olsen, Benjamin, and Samuel enter the game--what defense do you go with?

Load the box, we motion Christian out, leave Armah in to pass block, and we pass--Olsen, McCaffrey, Samuel, and Benjamin out in pass routes vs. 7 in the box.  And Armah can catch too.

OR they bring in a nickel package. Cam audibles, Samuel motions toward the play, freezing backside pursuit (reverse?).  McCaffrey runs right, behiind Armah's lead block on the ISO--the end/OLB has to stay home because Cam can keep it.   That leaves a double on the DT, ISO block on LB, and McCaffrey vs. a Safety in the open field.  Good luck stopping that.

Passing or running out of the same personnel.  Why do you think we are grabbing people who can play multiple positions?  McCaffrey RB, slot WR; Sameul WR, RB, Wildcat; now Armah FB, TE.

I think there is a good chance this guy ends up getting cut. When it gets down to it, Fullbacks are hard to keep on the 53. Getting rid of Tolbert might help a guy like this make it. I love the idea of it though. We need guys that want to block. Just like we need corners that want to tackle.

He could have.......or he could have been picked right after us. Nobody knows, that's why you take YOUR guy and not worry about someone plucking him from you.
