Likely not since Barnidge would be our #2 and Howard will be the Bucs #1, but that's comparing apples and oranges. I really don't think Howard would be a huge upgrade over Barnidge as our #2 this season. Obviously he's not a long-term solution like Howard would be, but as a stop gap? Hell yes. You're not finding long-term solutions at every position of need.

But, Kizer sucks so it's all moot. They're not going anywhere until they find a QB and taking Kizer probably delayed that by at least two seasons. Typical Browns. One step forward and two steps back.
