There is no way to describe how bad we screwed up the TE position in this draft. This was a very deep draft, but trading a 3rd and 4th for Hall was foolish

I beginning to agree with this. I really hope Hall pans out, if so, no harm done.

So you're saying we should've reached in the fourth for a TE? That's foolish, we upgraded glaring needs and Legget almost fell in our laps.

I feel like either way really, no harm done. Was a 3rd or 4th round pick this year going to help the Panthers win the super bowl this year? I don't think so. Inconsequential is the word that comes to mind about these types of players.

Maybe in a year or 2, but quite honestly, it doesn't matter all that much. There is a draft and free agency next year, and this season the Panthers have a solid, deep squad.

Our 98 and 115 = 172

The pick that we got from the Cardinals for our 98 and 115 was pick 77 = 205

Outside of the very obvious 1st and 2nd round edge rushers, Hall was very likely the best we could get for our system.

We won that trade easily.
