Smitty killin' it

Smitty is doing really well in his rookie broadcaster campaign.  Was enjoyable to listen to when they cut to him last night and just now on NFLN he was debating back and forth with Casserly about Osweiler, Casserly arguing he has a winning record and is better than any of the QBs left in the draft. Smitty basically said "he sucks". Can't stand Casserly and it's great to see Smitty putting him in his place.

Yeah watching Casserly get butt hurt when Smitty said he hopes Chicago doesn't David Carr Trubisky by putting him in a bad situation and ruining him was awesome

Was watching that too, Casserly had no hope...Steve roasted him without much effort.

He was asked what a vet says when mixon walks into the locker room. Smitty said rookies like that need to be seen and not heard and earn their right to be heard.

Almost made a post similar to this. Never in my wildest dreams did I think Smitty would get a broadcasting gig but he's been fantastic at it.

He'll be good at it and a joy to watch until he says something unPC and then gets run out of the profession for life by the perpetually aggrieved among us.
