If we didn't draft him, who would have?

Likely no one. We were setup to get a blue chip player but we walked out a white runningback who will be out of the league before his contact expires.

What is wrong with a white runningback/slot receiver? The dude ran a mid 4.4 and has the shiftiness of Mccoy, wtf does race have to do with it?

Man, I love how salty some folks are, making judgments about how good or bad he is already.

I feel pretty confident that he'll be around after his first contract expires.  I realize a lot of the hate and bias is that he's a white dude playing the RB, WR and KR position, which is hard for many people accept.  Hence why the "white boy" moniker is thrown around quite a bit here.  I thought we as a culture were "color blind?"  (At least according to the white people)

The Panthers have a ton of information on him, from a personal perspective and his dad played in the NFL at a reasonably high level for quite a while.  He knows what it takes to be a NFL player.  The only thing that will derail him is injury.

Now his level of success, well who knows.  Many of us think that he has the tools, the team thinks that he has the tools, and certainly the rest of the NFL-blog-o-sphere thinks so as well.  I'm also willing to bet that there were several other teams who thought he'd be an interesting piece.

Some places he could have gone:  Philly as a weapon for Carons Wentz, KC - Andy Reid much, the Saints, Colts, anyone looking to give their QB a weapon or a boost to their special teams.  He's a talented kid who can be special in the NFL, like many other draft picks last night and over the next two days.

Once again with the racial overtones. Just stop that crap.
He is the most athletic offensive player in the draft bar none. He broke Barry Sanders collegiate record for all purpose yards in 2015 that stood for decades. He is a great player regardless of his color.
