Easy. They get an A.

Solve our slot WR issue, our RB issue, and our returner issue all in one. The fact he's the best slot and the 2nd best pure runner makes it all the more better.

This whole slot thing is being way overstated. We have NOT solved our slot WR issue. That will come later. What we did do is give Rivera his scat back he's always wanted, and with some luck and conditioning , maybe a feature back in the future.

McCaffrey was the right pick even though I hated to see Howard go to the Bucs. We have a true new age RB that can be a gadget player as well. McCaffrey will cause mistakes on defense and has home run speed. Add in his PR ability and its a A+ for Dave.

A+.  Signifies a willingness to modernize the offense. I'm surprised but thrilled.

That would require a new offensive coordinator. I would bet my life that we'll see the same offense for the most post part. Maybe a few more screen or some more of those gadget plays the Panthers use to run with Ted Ginn.

I give it a B because of his size and expected role. I can't give a change of pace guy an A right away. Now if we evolve, maybe C-Mac will be the perfect answer and fit.

A good friend of mine said he was skeptical, but I told him that ICM skeptically optimistic.

I'd normally share your skepticism. But,  you can't take CMC and plan to run the same garbage offense.

P.S.  don't bet your life.  I lost a Benjamin to Moorgan because I didn't think in a million years we'd take CMC.
