Here's to Panther 55, Stirs, Tiger and, humbly, me, along with others I am probably forgetting.

We got our guy.

Actually, I think it was Fuzz, and not Stirs that was on the CM wagon. Can't edit so I repost instead.

Also wanted to add that this will be good to give Cam another challenge as McCaffrey is best at running routes we don't have in our offense.  It will challenge Cam and keep him hungry - give him a more tangible goal to reach for instead of just honing what he already does well.  Again, I like this because I think Cam is that good that he can totally do it and our offense will be all the greater.

Guest Barry McCaulkinor

This guy will be gone before his rookie contract ends. No doubt. Hopefully along with this fantastically horseshit front office.

Just now, Mr. Scot said:

Gettleman was a scout in Denver while his dad was playing there.

For AFC purposes I'll be rooting for McD because he was able to pull Dennison in.  I won't lie, those two were actually my top-2 for HC when we picked Rivera.

There is so much that spawned from those nineties Broncos.

I'm bad at tracking college prospects but McCaffrey caught my eye quite a while back. A part of me wanted him to wear Panther blue but to have it actually happen was such a surprise. He excites me not just because of his elusiveness, versatility and patience but it's an indicator that we will be making a shift in offense. As a runner, he brings a different dimension to the table and as a receiver, he can actually make himself get open so that Cam doesn't have to throw into tight windows. Return skills is the cherry on top.

That said, it wouldn't shock me if we double dip and grab another back like Samaje Perine.

love how people are saying white RBs are only scatbacks, including cmac.

meanwhile the GM of the team, who watched some 600+ touches is comparing him to curtis martin, who couldn't be further away from what we consider "scatbacks."

full on racism.

All the way back to 2003? Not that long ago.

McCaffrey may be more recent, but there's been guys way further back than that.

Heck, I've already seen some second generation guys play out their careers and retire.
