Give me three teams that feature two TEs as a part of their offense, and please provide their annual offensive ranking for the past three years.

lol...

Who exactly do you want the Panthers to draft to improve our offense. Go ahead and give me your top 5 choices if we stay put at #8.

Pats

Panthers

KC

Seattle

Dallas

etc

Thanks to  the defense creating high turnover and good field position

Cam running ability masked a lot of the deficiencies.

If Panthers had adequate OL and real WRs they would have beaten that vaunted defense

We can play if/then all day.

see my previous post and I will be waiting for your response...

Not saying Peppers is or isn't a mentor, but I don't really understand the "overnight" reference.  He's been gone for 7 years....people can mature

Expecting people to change is like playing the lotto.... .................

The only one of those I am willing to give you full credit for is New England.

There is a reason they still use two TE sets. It is because they are pretty much the pioneers and trendsetters at doing it. TBQH, they are likely going to move away from it. There were even rumors that Gronk could be traded, etc.

We try and fail to run two TE sets, more often than not, as do anyone not named the New England Patriots. We don't have the other personnel for this. We don't have the WCO type RBs that catch out of the backfield. We don't have the streaking #3 slot guys tearing up the middle of the field, shielded by two TEs. We don't have the mobile guards and solid tackles to keep a pocket to allow routes to develop.

To have that, we'd need more than OJ Howard. A lot more.

Defense created a lot of turnovers true.  But just as important, our offense didn't turn it over much. 10 interceptions all year, and nine lost fumbles.   Our offensive line was actually pretty good and more importantly, stayed mostly healthy.  Our interceptions nearly doubled in 2016, in part I guess because we were playing from behind more, and because our beat up oline allowed a lot more pressure.  Didn't help that we played a much tougher schedule.

The only thing we don't have is 2nd TE and we did with Shocey and Barnridge

We have two of the best pulling guards that can play both zone and power

J-Stew can catch out of the backfield in 2011 when we used the 2 TE set he had almost 500 receiving yard

we do need a slot WR

Panthers 2 TE set will be more potent due to Panther interior OL and Power running game is on another level .

We are 2 pieces away from that a 2nd TE and slot WR.

So you want Howard at 8? Who is your pick?
