My top 33. For fun, discussion, and to pass the time.

These are my top 33 prospects. the draft is tomorrow and I wanted a place to sit down and type out my "big board."  If this doesn't interest you, feel free to hit back and move on to something else. Just killing time.  Anyway, feel free to argue.  I am no expert.

Tier 1: These are the transcendent talents in the draft.  Players that could change the direction of a franchise.  If any of these 3 players are on the board when we pick, IMHO they would be a no-brainer selection.  Some would even argue they are worth trading up for.

Myles Garrett - DE

Jamal Adams - SS

Leonard Fournette - RB

Tier 2: This is the all-star tier.  These are likely pro-bowl caliber players who should come in and start day-1.  Due to our draft position, it is a guarantee that at least one of the players in the top 2 tiers will be available when we pick.  Depending on how many QBs or reaches occur in the top 7, we may have our choice between 2 or 3 of these players (and allow us to trade down and still get one)

Solomon Thomas - DE/DT

O.J. Howard - TE

Christian McCaffrey - RB/WR

Reuben Foster - MLB

Malik Hooker - FS

Tier 3:

Jonathan Allen - DT/DE

Marshon Lattimore - CB

Mike Williams - WR

Corey Davis - WR

Haason Reddick - OLB

Tier 4: Because the draft is crazy, this is the tier we could see players start to slip and anyone beyond this point may be a target for us to trade back into the 1st round and grab.

Dalvin Cook - RB

Derek Barnett - DE

Gareon Conley - CB

Quincy Wilson - CB

Charles Harris - DE

Tier 5:

Joe Mixon - RB

Forrest Lamp - OG

Garrett Bolles - OT

John Ross - WR

David Njoku - TE

Tier 6: Due to teams overdrafting and QBs and other schema specific players being taken by other teams, these are the players who very well may make it to our pick in the second round.

Ryan Ramczyk - OT

Taco Charlton - DE

Tyus Bowser - OLB

Cam Robinson - OT/OG

Alvin Kamara - RB

Tier 7:

Budda Baker - FS

Takkarist McKinley - DE

Jabrill Peppers - SS

Kevin King - CB

Jarrad Davis - OLB

Lattimore and Allen should be above all in tier 2 except Thomas, who's close. Allen maybe a bit further down our board because we're set at the position but Lattimore is a legitimate top tier prospect, as are Thomas and Allen. I'd put Barnett higher and Cook lower. And don't see any way Ramczyk falls to 40, possible he goes top 15. Limited experience but was a beast last year and has what you want at OT. Peppers is an interesting prospect, would probably put him higher but he may fall now because of the diluted test.

From what I have heard about Allen, his shoulders are turning a lot of teams off.  Heard one scout say a team would be lucky to get a productive 4 years out of him.  I hate that, and hope it isn't true, but it bumps him down a touch IMO.

I have never been a Barnett fan.  Maybe I am jaded because he was mocked to us so much early in this process and I thought there were better options.

Cook has horrible measurables, but you can't deny that on-field production.

It's Cook's off-field issues that drop him down, not his on the field production, which I agree is very good.

I think the stuff on Allen is overblown, but who knows.
