We got all kinds of sports ugly all over the state so far this season. One thing about the hurricanes though thats different from the panthers, if they aren't playing well they'll make some changes to get some results. new coach, big player trade, something will get shook up and thats not to say it'll make them better but they'll at the very least give it a try.

Man, last season under Laviolette, this team was frustrating as they couldn't string wins together... but this team now can't even get A win period. So frustrating.

As great of a job as Mo did last year coaching this club, he is doing an equally terrible job this year. It doesn't help that we're the oldest team in the league.. and that really shows this season, but seriously... the effort out there is awful. None of the adjustments or things that Mo keeps trying is working at all.

Last year our defense was a little weak and we were known as a soft team. We got two new defensemen (Ward, Alberts) for our top 6 and now we're like swiss cheese!

I would definitely expect a trade to come up in the next week, as well as some youngins coming up from Albany. There were some rumors of Ray Whitney being shopped, but we'll see what happens. Some kind of shakeup needs to be done though because we are only ahead of the Leafs in the standings right now... and I don't see that lasting long at this point.

The Leafs suck horribly, but at least they show up with energy and will give you a good fight even if they lose the game.

This Canes team is FLAT

$20 bucks say that we trade Brind'Amour. He has become a huge liability when he is on the ice. I think his +/- is the worse in the NHL at -9. He should have hung it up after last season or maybe even the one before.

We need to win at least the 15 of the next 25 or the season is over and the fire sell begins. Whitney, Cole Walker, Corvo, Wallin and Brind'Amour will all be on the trade block and at least 3 of them will be shipped out. People pay a high price for playoff grit and experience.

We are in for a long season....

I took Cam Ward thinking I got a steal...:mad:

My friend DESPERATELY tried to trade me Ward and Sedin for Luongo and I turned him down. He's a Canucks fan and would do any trade for Luongo. At the time I felt stupid for rejecting it, but then Kopitar started going nuts. I really wouldn't have had any need for Sedin. I have Savard, Thornton, and Kopitar hahahaha. Plus the aforementioned Canes struggling.
