This was actually pretty funny and the only thread I have responded to since we lost Monday night. I couldn't bring myself to suffer through all the negative crap and sky falling posts.

I thought about responding to this by doing something similar using nothing but negative posts and avatars but realized that it would be the same as the actual huddle board right now.:D

I do have to say that at least RB is original and humorous at times in his complaints. Wish more folks were able to do the same.

After all it is a game, we have waited for months for the season to start, and it is a shame that so many are in such pain over our start. Maybe it is me but after a 1-15 year in 2001 nothing will be as bad and even bad football is better than no football at all.

Yea i was waiting for a kind of response thread where I just would've replied, "well that looks just like the 1st page of threads".

the reason I did this was to give people an idea of what they're looking for. it's extreme, but we've gotten a lot of newbs come on here complaining about the thread material, that it's too negative. Well what kind of material would you want? (I could actually come up with more of those kinds of thread topics in the parody than real positives on this team) What phase of the panthers could you actually say is good right now, because there is no area of the game we're good at thus far in the season.

P55, you and i butt heads on here a lot, but all we're talking about is the game and i hope you and anybody else i disagree with enjoyed it.

The bottom line is that you took a lot of time to create that and it surely was humorous. As you say we don't always agree on things but I surely believe that everyone has the right to their opinions. And in the end different opinions on a message board are as important as spices are to food dishes. They are absolutely necessary. I would hate for everyone and everybody to agree on everything. My only wish is that we can keep it civil instead of filled with name calling and personal attacks. As much as we may argue it is generally respectful and about issues not attacks on each other. :D

Raging Bull, this is classic. That's one helluva dose of truth serum. A friggin' pansy mirror. The reality check of all Huddle reality checks! A Huddle RUDAFT model of the Kirby vacuum designed for those with their heads in the sand (or the posteriors of choice personnel within the organization). You have definitely run amuck in the china shop tonight. Big Ups!

    • He’s had some good moments in spots. I’d want to check back at his games to not speak completely out of my as$ but I have never got the sense he’s been able to execute that type of gunslinger play consistently or enough for me to think he is one. The best “gunslingers” types out there aren’t necessarily always retreating from the pocket on a whim. They’re still going through progressions. They are gritty and stick in it, getting dinged up when they need to and/or being elusive while still looking downfield.  Bryce has been on a good trajectory the past two weeks behind a great supporting run game — still doesn’t negate that he needs to work on his pocket work to best effectively navigate the out of structure work at this level. It’s all about the drop backs, the spacing, staying active yet composed, not leaving a play too soon. His best work last week was stepping up into the pocket to find McMillan - that first TD to him was perrrrty.
    • Let me start by saying I really like our receivers, top to bottom. I am only posting so that some people will maybe relax a little... Rookie Season: XL - 6 drops per PFR (7 by PFF) total, 32nd overall selection, 7th WR taken. TMac - 3 drops per PFF total, through 6 games. 1st "true" WR off the board, 8th overall. ------------------- Again this is not designed to flame either player but just to point out that there is going to be some growing pains as our  young guy develop, especially when we're asking them to be "the" guy as a rookie.  We asked this of XL as rookie when Dj was traded, and Thielen was out with the hamstring for a considerable amount of time after the Raiders game. Now TMac is in a similar position, as like with XL last year he's being asked to be the "X" receiver.  Both are "1st round" selections by name, but 8th vs 32 overall are not remotely coming with the same set of expectations.  Let's be happy the GM, Coach, and scouts got two young receivers they're high on, and as a fan I'm intrigued by the skill set each offers.  If you go back and watch the all 22, Bryce missed  XL this past week for a TD, and and large opportunity on a deep cross.  That is not intended to "poo" on Bryce, its just whats on the tape. He's missed others, just like there have also been some drops from others as well this season. Point is we are .500 (3‐3) at the moment, if the trajectory continues on the young players development, we may have an offense to get excited about.  Good view if you have yet to see it.
