A contender-contender doesn't want to pay anything for a 32 year old RB

So he has to go to maybe a contender, you know, team with at least a proven QB that will accept him. It's gotta be a "contender" that also wants him.

Where in the world is this notion that the Saints run some sort of spread offense? Drew Brees works under center. A lot. Saints run out of Iformation. A lot. 

Does AP have anything left? I don't know. Does he fit? Yes.

AP is a good pickup by the saints especially for a team that likes RB by committee. 

Ingram & AP will make a good Tandem and the Saints have decent interior OL to take advantage of both skill set.

Yeah a RB that had a fluke season last year, but almost 1500 yards the year prior is something we can scoff at.

Peterson might have a good year or two left in him, especially if he is rotating with Ingram.  But he is not going to transform the Saints offense.

I'd be more worried if he went to the Bucs. 

He doesn't seem like much of a fit in that offensive scheme. Not the best at catchign out of the backfield, can't pass block, and their line is questionable.

Not sure it works out in his favor, but hey, I've been wrong before.

The absolute certainty with which you dismiss a great RB may come back to haunt you. Who knows how he will do on an offense that isn't utterly dependent on him? Just because you're probably right doesn't mean you can't be wrong. Weren't people laughing at Tennessee picking up DeMarco Murray after a bad season?
