Unfortunately we're picking in the top 10 because of our general suckiness last season. I'm gonna go on faith that this is not going to be a regular occurrence. 

We've gotten kind of used to waiting for what seems like FOREVER during these last few years. In that respect, we kind of know what it's like to be a fan of the truly elite teams. We've been like Pats fans without the championships.

This year all that's going to change. We're not gonna have to wait all night to find out the scoop. No waiting and waiting for 20 or 30 something clocks to run out, endless commercial breaks, or staying up way past bedtime unless you want to. 

You can celebrate or commiserate relatively early in the evening.

Soak it all in, because in 2018 you'll be waiting until the very last pick.

I dig your enthusiasm. It feels like forever since we have had this high of a pick. Granted I hate that we had to have such a bummer of a season to get here. Regardless I'm super stoked to see who we pick up. Unlike some of the other top 10 pick teams, I feel like with this draft we can be right back in it next season.

      The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us.
