RUMOR: Jags drafting a QB

Please have 3/4  picks be qbs in the top 4 and we could get Thomas or Adams...or fournette. Heck I don't care just get here Thursday

Reached out to some Jags friends.....they don't seem convinced that they're talking Fournette. They think they're taking one of the DL or trading back. FWIW

The topic of the Jags taking a running back started about a month or so ago.

I read where they have Yeldon as a running back and they have far greater needs than Fournette. 

Anyone think this could be a full court press to get another team to trade up with them to get him.   They would get an extra pick or two if they got some team to bite.

Or do you think they'll really take him.

Man I would love to see that but neither one of those situations is happening. We are not trading both second rd picks. We probably won't get Fournette or McCaffrey. Fournette will go before eight because someone will trade up for him. Then we won't take McCaffrey at eight and someone will get him before we pick again at 40

I have played this out in my head looking at multiple teams, but it would be nice to come out with picks somewhere around maybe #18 and 25-26 and still have the 40 pick. (Under my scenario you would give up pick 64) 

Under this scenario maybe Howard, Mccaffery or even Allen drop to where we could get them.  With pick 25 you get Cam Robinson from Alabama and then grab whoever is the BPA at 40.  In this situation you come out of the draft with three very solid players that are probably starting on week one.

I like the idea of quality vs quantity.  I do hope we dont involve future draft picks but picks in this draft I am totally ok with parlaying them into studs.

There is a good chance of happening, Panthers will not take on 9 rookies.
