Jeff Garcia?

I know we brought in AJ but I think that Garcia is a more proven QB and would at worst be the best backup we have. And yes he was released from the Eagles.

If he was to learn our offense. He would definately beat out Delhomme as starting QB. Sad though, Fox would probably not let him compete against Delhomme for starting QB. That being said. I dont think they will go out and get Garcia. I sure would welcome the change though. He can not do any worse.

Id love for Garcia to compete for the starting job. I think hes greatly under-rated

Garcia has a career 88 passer rating and has been at 90 or above for his past 3 seasons (without Steve Smith caliber receivers). Jake Delhomme's best season was an 88 passer rating...4 years ago.

Not bringing in Garcia a few weeks ago was a mistake...not bringing him in now is just stupid IMO. But we all know how committed this organization is to Jake.
