And just in case your head is too hard @GoobyPls, here is another one to spell it out for you.

The Panthers were the only team to work out Bradberry after he had a strong showing in the Senior Bowl, and many people didn’t expect him to go until Day three. Gettleman obviously saw something in him that other teams didn’t, however, and snagged the small-school corner with the No. 62 pick.

Yet not a single person said we would draft him, also you posted a article a week after the draft, that holds no water.

A lot revisionist history going here to prove a point

So, for those who actually pay attention (unlike @GoobyPls, apparently) we know that Gettleman is far mor likely to actually draft someone we've had contact with, he's not afraid to go against the grain and draft someone a lot earlier than expected, and he will do so even if that player was only brought in for a pre-draft visit by the Panthers, as in the case of Bradberry or David Mayo.

Do you really think of KB as that sure handed, runs good routes, possession type third down receiver?

Either way I actually agree with you that our offense needs a deep threat type of receiver.  My point was a receiver like Jones could also fill a role on our offense, all be it a different role than somone like Ross.

Speaking of Ross I don't think he is in play at 8 and he is probably off the board at 40.  Westbrook might not even be on our board so Henderson might be the most likely of those three.  Also I don't see us using 40 on Jones even if he is still there.

I'm thinking 64 or 98 is the most likely spot for WR.  Stewart or Taylor are two others that might be available in that range.

KB doesn't have great hand put he's good enough to be our go to guy in critical situations. We do need a slot WR, but the need for a deep threat FAR out weighs that need for a slot.

This offense's MO is the deep ball as of now we have no deep threat. If we pass over Westbrook for a slot a guy fear our offense will continue to struggle

Revusionist history?  Ha! That was only to prove to you that Bradberry visited. You tried to imply that he didn't.

Obviously if Gettleman brings a player in, there is a chance we will draft him. That's the whole damn point. We try and learn from Gettleman's history.

Is your skull that thick? Come on, dude.

First off, I didn't say that you explicitly said it, I said that was your implication.

"wrong, they are still many players who visited that no one knows about. Just like Bradberry last year. Which I'm 1000% sure no one knew about. "

Not only were you wrong about Bradberry, but your whole notion of these back alley, clandestine meetings at midnight between players and teams is just wrong.

Obviously people knew about Bradberry because he visited. People who monitor visits, absolutely knew about Bradberry! And, anyone that knows Gettleman, knows that there is a good possibility that any one of the players that we have prejdraft visits with could be targets. This shouldn't be too hard for you to understand.

Panthers fandom does not begin nor end with the Carolina Huddle. There are multiple sources that I use to gather information and knowledge about the team.

Many threads, this one included, takes twists and turns into multiple discussions. I don't see anything wrong with that. It's the nature of the beast of a message board. I'm not bothered by it at all.

Like I said, dig in in your wrongness. No one is surprised. Why don't you just admit you are wrong for once and surprise the hell out of everybody?

Why did you purposely leave out the next line the after the one you quoted???? You know where I said mock drafts and how no one on the internet had us taking him. Including you

Bradberry visit was so lowkey you could only find two articles in the entire internet and one being after the draft which discredits your whole point.

Again your trying to change the topic

The line was left out because it's not relevant.

You're either a troll, not very bright, or just both. Some things just fly right over your head. It's pretty pointless trying to discuss things with you because you either completely miss points, or simply don't want to learn. Being that I can't do anything with that, I'm through with this discussion.

I'd take Godwin over Jones any day of the week and it's not even close.

What you smoking?

Where are your draftnik gods now? Jones went #37. #71 is on the clock now and Godwin is still available.

Repeat after me: for entertainment purposes only.
