Hyped up players in the draft that you are unimpressed with...

Obviously, there have been guys I have been sour on since the beginning. Guys like Dalvin Cook, Cam Robinson, and John Ross have all just been hype to me. This thread isn't for the mainstream guys like that that a lot of people have since soured on. Rather, who are some lesser talked about guys you are currently unimpressed with, the more you have researched them?

Marlon Mack leads my list. I've seen some people pretty high on him, but to me he is just not that special. He runs with a stiff neck and shoulders, and doesn't have much fluidity in his motions. Sometimes it looks like his helmet is clipped to his shoulder pads and he literally can't turn his head.

Ju Ju Smith-Schuster is another one. Way back when, he was a first rounder. I've seen some of the experts still ranking him in the top 5 WRs, but I'm really unimpressed with him.

I know some here will crucify me for saying it, but Taco Charlton isn't that great to me, either. I'd think he'd slide to the 2nd or third round in most years, but will be a first rounder because this year is thin at edge rush talent at the top of the draft.

Anyway, those were the ones that came to my mind first. Who you got?

I really don't understand the Curtis Samuel hype. The kid is fast and shifty but honestly, as a football player, he isn't impressive.

I have to disagree on Marlon Mack and JuJu. My one gripe with Mack is that he carries the ball too loosely. JuJu just plays like an Anquan Boldin clone (this comparison is overused but it sincerely applies to this kid) or, for another comparison, Mohammed Sanu. He's just big and tough and plays really hard.

I agree on Charlton. I just don't see the hype.

Also, I don't get the hype over Trubisky. The kid got DESTROYED in the bowl game. He played awful. Small sample size to go off of too. But yet, teams want to draft him in the top 10. I look at him and see BUST all over him.

You must think Cam sucks too. Trubisky got "destroyed" the same way that Cam did in the SB. There was simply a pass rusher on the other side that the OL had zero answers for.

He really didn't play bad in the bowl game. He made some great throws and good reads. His WR's let him down big time like they did all year

I was more referring to his decision making. 3 turnovers. 14 rushes for 38 yards, when he isn't a runner. I get that Thomas was a beast, but that doesn't explain the entirety of the game

There were some crucial drops for sure, one in the endzone that was a dime. I just look at Trubisky as like a Tannehill/Gabbert hybrid.
