Yes he did.

He caught a pass and rolled. Not realizing that the "down" rule is different in the pros than it is in college (no one had touched him) he spiked it. It bounced into the hands of a Jacksonville Jaguars defender who ran it back for a touchdown.

Plaxico is probably that kid's idol.
