So Mixon has a hugely public video come out of him hitting a girl.  Mixon also happens to be one of the best RBs coming out for the NFL draft.  The NFL has had MANY high profile cases of these alpha males hitting women.  There's a lot of public pressure on the NFL (and dollars) to fix this issue.  Of course you go into a guy's history.  You don't invest millions of dollars and a draft pick in a guy unless you feel like he's a safe pick, especially with his history.

Do you take a guy who could end up banned from the league with a 2nd or 3rd round pick without digging in his closet, under his bed, in his high school locker or middle school gym bag for every bit of information?  Of course.

Why gamble on character?  If you don't think hitting a female is a big deal, that tells me about you.  Don't force your crap on me or the Panther's locker room.

Does he deserve a second chance?  Yes--when he has earned one. How do you earn a second chance after hitting a girl?  I don't know--that is why I never hit a female--aside from the fact that I respect them.

I bet you support the return of Greg Hardy too.

People with no character are losers and they let you down every time.  No thanks.  If you think the incident is an isolated one--if you think that is the only time he hit a girl--watch the video.  He never hesitated.  This is a football team, not a rehab center.  Move on.  The 4 inches between your ears are more important than your 40 time when the game is on the line--can Mixon compose himself?

Well you see, when there is video evidence of punching a girl in the face as a college student, questions arise about your character. Teams will then look at your past in much greater detail than a guy without any criminal charges/accusations. It's not an agenda, just common sense.

Not once have I stated anything about bringing Hardy back.  What he did was clearly DV.  His girl didn't hit him, spit on him, or do anything as the female did in the Mixon video.  Two separate incidents, that had two separate conclusions.  Mixon was in the wrong, but not nearly as bad as Hardy.  Because, she hit Mixon first, and also spit on him.
