No doubt, but overall it's a cool place with some interesting people. I moved back last year after spending three years there going to school.

Yep. Graduated in 2007, but just moved back to Monroe last March. Haven't been able to make it back up to Asheville since.

Marty Hurney didn't just go from sportswriter to GM (ala Matt Millen). He started at lesser jobs in front offices - under Bobby Beathard for example - and worked his way up. Prior to becoming the Panthers GM, he was their chief contract negotiator and cap manager, the job that right now belongs to Rob Rogers.
