The reason Moose seems to be forgotten is because he drops about 50% of the passes thrown to him! He makes it up with his blocking and leadership abilities.

And still can't get Jarrett or even Hackett more involved.

Weather will be a factor but not because of cold or snow. It will be wind. That affects a passing game much more than snow or rain.

16-17 MPH wind. Jake needs to keep the ball down tight and accurate. I hate to say it but Eli throws a much tighter spiral than Jake. Good thing is Steve is about the best after the catch in the NFL. The short passing game will be huge.

Interesting enough...........despite Mannings tighter spiral over at the Giants message board there are fans concerned with the wind as they state that Elli has stuggled to throw in those conditions..............personally I think wind gusts will be a wash (no pun intended) in this game in regards to QB's.

If it does factor in.....the hands of Smith (the real one) and running game of Carolina places it in our favor from a skill position standpoint.

Jake usually aims for Moose early to open up the field for Smitty. He's done so the last couple games. Let's hope he can keep it up.

We have to start Smith off fast to get some rhythm going. Then toss a few times to Moose. A few early draws, screens, and bootlegs to open our running game up

Just like Beaston said, we have to get Smith and the running game into a rythm early. Then that will open up Moose and TE's for those key 3rd down catches...assuming Moose doesnt drop things thrown his way...pray for a consitent game from him.
