I think every QB has players they "look to" in pressure situations. It's natural to build trust with people and look for them when you need a play. However, making up your mind before the snap as to where you are going to throw the ball is completely different. Delhomme does it all the time. He takes the snap and looks down the guy he want to throw too and fires away. Jake puts TOO much trust in Smith because he throws it to him regardless of double or triple coverage. When both teams know where the ball is going pre-snap.....picks are a result.
