How to Fix it (The Huddle)

This board is not going to get fixed. It's basically inundated with too many half-wits who enjoy whining and moaning more than being a fan.

And there is plenty to whine and moan about to sustain these parasites. Fox and Hurney have been running this ship aground for the last three seasons IMO with some desperation moves during the draft stemming form the proverbial "hot seat" situation.

This Julius Peppers thing has gone way south so far. He could turn it around I guess but anybody foolish enough to trap a player who verbally expresses his discontent with current surroundings is asking for trouble IMO.

I will now repeat my sentiments from the days leading up to the signing of Gross and the tagging of Peppers"

The compensation you receive by letting Pep walk is the ability to free up cash for players that want to play for your team and getting rid of a potential problem who does not want to be here.

As for signing Jake Delhomme to a long term deal....that was a terrible move and I am not blaming the losses on him (well maybe Philly) but this is just another example of how inept the FO has become.

There is a lot of work to do and it is very evident that we will see some major changes in the coming season and 2010. There is lots to do in Pantherland and nowhere to go but up. We are back to where we were in the late 90's at best right now and at that time we still had fans who loved the Panthers. The board may be lost for now but there is still cause for being a fan of the Panthers and showing support for the changes on the horizon.

P.S.

I made it a point to listen to Packman yesterday just to listen to Darin Gantt and I address Darin directly in high hopes that he reads this post:

Darin you are a worthless, whiny twat of a man that makes loving this team more difficult instead of easier. You are a patsy mouthpiece to the man and serve no noticable purpose in life other than making a fool out of yourself and your employer. Your spineless retorts and quivering defensive quips consistently expose you for the total failure you are at your chosen craft and I hold you just as responsible as the Carolina Panthers in this colossal failure of a franchise based on your incessant covering-up, sugar-coating, and excuse-making for it. If not for your ill-deserved autonomy and absurdly biased spin efforts the ship may have been forced right prior to reaching this low point. Thank you Darin Gantt for your shameless efforts to shield us from the truth for the purpose of self-promotion. You are the Bernie Madoff of sports journalism.

it was a rhetorical question.

I was just messin' with you.

I listened to packman too and I don't get the Gantt hate myself. He's just a reporter, not a fan or a member of the organization.

He is more of a member of the organization than any reporter I've listened to.

He has always been in JR's back pocket and his pitiful retorts during those calls yesterday just proved how much of a douchebag he is. The people listening to him and taking what he reports at face value over the years are the ones flaming the team, ruining the board, and experiencing the most xhock right now.

...never saw it coming (thanks to fork-tongued patsies like Darin Gantt)
