The Next Head Coach

Mine, also. Guy makes sense.

Brian Schottenheimer? Why? Someone make a case.

Jets have a strong running game and it looks like he has developed Sanchez pretty well (at least Sanchez seems to be improving).

Thier offense seems to have balance (pound the run, and then make a play through the air when needed). He is someone that I think the personel could be tweaked a little to accomodate.

A guy I haven't heard mentioned before is Kyle Shanahan (OC for the Redskins). He played a big part in Matt Schaub's development in becoming one of the best QB's in the league. And now even Joey Galloway is catching passes in his offense. Now he's only 31 but he'd be a Grandad compared to our offense.

Sorry.

For my damned $4K a year for PSLs, I don't want anymore D-coordinator wanna be head coaches, Capers = Fox.

I want Cowher. I want someone who has passion, takes poo from no one, and wins.

I'm tired of this team being a damned laughing stock and even during Fox's tenure they were not taken seriously. When they managed to win, they were the worst looking winning team I've ever seen.

I'd suggested leaving the 'experiments' to someone else. Yes, I know Siefert. Cowher ain't Siefert and Fox, ain't Cowher, and neither is Ron Rivera or Leslie Frazier, or the next Ryan wannabe.

If JR does not bring the Chin here, this fan base is going to go bat crazy, me among them.

Did you read what I wrote about him?

This was a list written (last year) to encompass as many potential candidates as possible. Davidson was someone that had been mentioned, so he was included. But not everyone who was included was necessarily someone I supported.

I do think I'm going to redo this thread, and may expand it to include assistant coach possibilities. The confusion with last year's posts is too much.

Will probably post the new one sometime this week.
