The Next Head Coach

Mr. Scot

Tomlin has only won 1 Super Bowl and Cowher the other. SB XL (2005 Season) was a Cowher team and Last year was Tomlin's.

You are right, I'm wrong, but Jim Zorn could win Superbowls with that organization. Before Tomlin came in, I thought it was Cowher, it's the organization, not a coach! Unless it's the d-coordinator, that is the only thing that doesn't change!

This. Why do you think I want Keith Butler as our HC so bad (Steelers LB Coach)? Many consider him to be as talented as Kiffin and hes younger and has something to prove. And you can't say he can't develop talent, when Harrison was a UDFA when they got him now he is one of the best LB's in the league.

I guess you are referring to LeBeau.

Three more wins and it might.

On the flipside, there's a fair share of folks whose dislike of Fox is strong enough to hope the rest of the season goes in the toilet. Some admit it, while others only think it.

Me? While there are things I dislike about Fox, my feelings aren't strong enough to wish for failure. That said, I'm not convinced he's done enough to save himself (yet).

Hate to sound self-serving, but I have to admit I'm one of the "one big thread over eight little threads" folks (ditto JRamsey's GM thread).

With only five games left and the team facing a murderer's row on the way to the offseason, at this point I think it's become a more relevant discussion.

I think as soon as Fox said Jake would remain starter as long as he is physically able...he lost all chance to stay in Carolina.

No way in hell John Fox stays as head coach. The fan backlash would be too great. He's done.

Despite the title of this thread, I'm still not 100% confident of that.

Leaning more that way, mind you, but I'm still not ready to call it a lock.
