MNF and Brayton

As hard as it was to watch the 2nd half meltdown (poor tackling, poor field position, POOR special teams, and lack of offensive rhythm due to conservative play calling and field position), I noticed one thing. Brayton was all over the place. He made tackles on the opposite side of the field and was in position to make tackles on the opposite side of the field quite often, including chasing down a Dallas RB from the opposite side of the LOS. He had four total tackles which (I believe), was twice what next highest defensive lineman had (which in and of itself is sad considering he only had four). He lost containment once that I saw, but overall had a good game. Just wanted to give some recognition to someone other than the usual suspects.(Beason, Davis, etc)

I must have missed that part....the only DE playing worth anything IMO was johnson.

He had a good game but I only remember one assisted tackle and some QB pressure. He was drawing attention from Dallas which might explain that. Probably what drew my eye to Brayton was a play in which Peppers lost containment and the Dallas RB ran through 2-3 piss poor missed tackles until Brayton came from the other side of the field to take him down.

I think People tend to overreact to the the play of Brayton.like i said the only DE i saw who was playing good consistently was johnson..Brayton stats are no better than peppers and he does not offer the same amount of pass rush..i saw him get taken out the play just as much as pepper just at diff times.

Brayton is like the skinniest fat girl.

By and by, she's still fat, and Brayton still sucks.

This made me chuckle. It's got a lot of truth to it, but I respect Brayton because he leaves it all out on the field every down.. even if he is basically a rotational player in a full time role.
