I'm not as sure that we draft an OT. I think we're covering our bases there in scouting in case a guy we like slips, but given the weakness of the OT class (a weakness Gettleman has confirmed), I think the decent OT prospects will end up over drafted and off the board earlier than we're willing to draft them.

Ignore heel31ok. He's one of those people that thinks Gettleman is the devil and has done nothing right since he got here

I am certainly not impressed so far...still with the upcoming draft he has a chance to change that...but if he poops the bed in this one , well more will come around to my point of view...

Yes, this could be true.  But we SURE have invested a TON of scouting into the OTs, so, I think they are hoping that one they like is available somewhere when we pick.  Gotta think Oher's longevity is questionable even if he plays this season...

No, I think we'd love to draft one I just doubt the board falls the right way for it to happen. I think we'll have to reach if we want one. But, maybe we will. We sure spammed away at CBs last year.

By the way, I apologize that I've been talking about OTs on a thread about WRs!!  It's easy to get caught up in just replying to bits of various comments and forget what the thread is supposed to be about.  I plead guilty.

Back on the topic of WRs, having let Ginn go makes WR a huge priority.   I'd be pretty disappointed if we don't draft a guy like Godwin, Henderson or Jones.  There are some exciting prospects that look like round 2 picks.  I want a good WR (great routes / separation / hands & ideally decent speed too) this draft.  I think there are guys available.  We've got a lot of draft capital.  I don't see much excuse for not landing a talented WR quite high.
