Ogbah would be starting and Henry would be nice to groom while we still have a 30 some year old TE who isn't going to play forever and would also be nice in 2 TE sets. But never mind, Ed Dickson is a body at least.

31 other teams to cheer for.. Find one that you can actually like instead of constantly complain about. It'll help your blood pressure

It's pretty sad not riding the "rah rah" wagon automatically casts you as being negative despite having legit concerns. Sorry, a pathetic season with poor coaching and a GM that decided to go full derp after going to a Super Bowl tends to lead it's fans away from that wagon.

No, constantly complaining about EVERYTHING the team does is what casts you as being negative. There are plenty of people on here that don't like everything Dave has done, myself included, that dont come off as negative. You know why? They don't complain about every single thing

I think this could impact Trai Turner as well.  He will want $10m per and RGs are not that hard to find.  Funny, but Star has a lot to do with KK's success, so I see us finding the $$$ for him.  Who knows?

I think it's possible we could keep Norwell, Turner and Star but that would mean it'd be harder to keep guys like Bradberry, Shaq, etc. down the road. Doubt KB is in our long term plans unless we can keep him for middle of the pick WR2 money (unlikely, he'd probably get low end WR1 money now let alone after he probably increases his value in the next 2 years).

Thinking along your lines that we may let Trai walk and fill that hole through the draft, but we'll see what happens. I just hope Norwell is at LG for us for the rest of Cam's and his career. Would like to keep Star but would understand having to let him walk and sticking with Butler and KK. Not an easy job as a GM that's for sure.

All of the players you named would also be used as part of a rotation.
#confused

I don't know about that, Bell, Shepard, ogbah all very well could be starting for us this year going forward. Dodd would be rotational but for how long? Maybe a full season at most? And Henry would not be rotational, you find a way to get him and Olsen on the field at the same time the same way we do with Dickson now. Bottom line these guys listed would be rotational for at most a full season before becoming starters(besides Henry). We're taking about having butler rotating in and on passing downs, just not enough snaps for a 1st rounder, see Shaq Thompson

How didn't ogbah end up performing? Don't feel like looking it up.

I did want Henry....would have been a nice get

good thing we have CJ pulling the strings

CJ has had a great offseason.  He's batting 1000 on bringing in / signing his guys, I think...  This should make for really excellent morale in the locker room.  Seems to me we're building a team of guys who can't wait to work together to go get a Lombardi.  Hunger.  Brotherhood.  This season has the makings of something epic if Cam is healthy, our Oline shapes up, and we can shake things up a bit on offense with some new weapons.  So excited.

Add to that the general dismissiveness of everyone outside of Carolina and you should have one very hungry team.

The Panthers have always been better when they have a chip on their shoulders. Bodes well for next season.

Good for K.K.

He's so underrated around here it is laughable.  He is causes havoc on the interior and that is something we absolutely have to have with Brees, Ryan and Winston in this division.

I believe his play last year suffered greatly due to the secondary and the inexperience that went along with it.  As those young guys get better and cover up longer, players like Short and Addison are going to reap the benefits in higher sack totals.  We are a stronger team with both of those guys signed locked down.
