Not sure why so many people hate the idea of drafting the best player from the best defense in college football 8th overall when he can play both inside and out? Seems like a no brainer to me if he is there assuming the usual suspects are gone. Let's not overthink this one.

Ridiculous, isn't it? Allen is a top 4 pick and could rush the passer from all over the line, while McCaffery wasn't even considered a top 20 prior to this month. I don't even want Allen, but he sure as hell is a better pick than McCaffery would be.
