McCaffrey can be an every down back. He runs between the tackles better than any back from this draft imo with his vision and patience, shows ability to pass block, and he's not your typical receiving RB in the fact he can play slot. So much so, people say he's the best slot WR from this draft.

I remember scouts remarking how he looked like the best WR out there doing WR drills, and how great he is with his vision and patience on tape. I recommend you check out my thread on McCaffrey; he's a special back.

It's easy to predict an interest in Vernon Butler. The impossible part is predicting that he's going to fall the way he did. No one knows if someone like that is going to fall as low as he did. If you told me he was going to definitely fall to 31 and the Panthers would take him then I would say no poo. Just like if you told me Star would fall and the Panthers would take him I would also say no poo. Or if Myles Garrett falls to eight the Panthers would take him.....no poo.

Haha.....I'm disputing whether he's a huge DB or not (he is). I just argue that the source of his info is valid - more valid than any other Panthers media - because it is. However...it's all going away so everyone on the Huddle can rejoice and praise David Newton! Isn't that what you all want? 

The doubters will get a clear picture soon. Sounds like it's going to happen early next week.

Barnett or McCaffery?  I will take McCaffery.   If we wanted Barnett we could have kept Ealy and used the pick at 72 instead of 64.
